Long before easy to use digital printing, metal type was cast for both manual and automatic printing. Each letter, pulled from cases of hundreds was set by hand with craftsmanship and skill. Typography was truly an art and it's lettering manufactured in stone and wood foundries like the Hendrix Type Foundry.
The kit features a hybrid of materials; hydrocal cast stone walls and laser cut wood walls. The stone walls are finger jointed so seams disappear. You can arrange the wood additions in several ways ( see photos).
Included in the kit are the hydrocal walls and ramp; lasercut clapboard walls, scale lumber, laser cut details, mold injected plastic windows, metal detail parts, color signs and instructions.
